CK Reed is an L.A.-based artist known for her bold mixed-media collages, abstract paintings, wallpaper designs, and murals which she has created for esteemed clients like SOHO House, Compartes, Surface Design Magazine, and more — and now, for Nomada.
Our team first discovered CK when she posted this collage after a getaway to the Santa Ynez Valley where she happened to stay at our very own Hotel Ynez. You could say it was love at first sight for Nomada's creative director, Kimberly Walker. We just had to see our hotels through CK's eyes.
So, we invited her out for a good old fashioned road trip that included stays at each Nomada hotel across the Central Coast and commissioned her to create custom artwork that captured the essence of each experience for a collection of postcards.
"It was a fabulous road trip filled with gorgeous California scenery, wine, and my favorite activity" sketching away in my sketchbook," shared CK.
